Healing that treats

not just the symptoms.
New Birth Family Counseling is an integrative therapy practice specializing in trauma, couples counseling, and whole-person wellness. We go beyond talk therapy, bridging mental health, functional medicine, and mind-body care to restore what's been lost.
from within." Dr. Regina Ransom
Founder & Clinical Director
Most practices treat symptoms.
We treat systems.
When trauma lives in your body, when burnout has become your baseline, when your relationship feels beyond repair, talking alone isn't enough. We bridge the gap between mental health and physical wellness with care that sees the whole picture.
Every client receives a personalized care plan built around their health history, lifestyle, nervous system, and goals. This is not one-size-fits-all. This is care designed around you.

for whole-person healing
From individual therapy and EMDR to couples intensives and functional medicine, every service is delivered with the same integrative philosophy. Your healing doesn't have to happen in silos.
Dr. Regina Ransom
Founder & Clinical Director
Dr. Regina Ransom built New Birth Family Counseling on a conviction she developed across decades of clinical work: that mental health cannot be separated from physical health, and that real healing requires looking at the whole person, not just the presenting problem.
She holds two doctorates, one in counselor education and clinical supervision and one in mind-body medicine, alongside a background spanning nursing, clinical psychology, forensic psychology, addiction counseling, psychiatric mental health, and natural medicine. That combination is why NBFC can look at the mind and the body in the same room.
A U.S. Navy veteran who served as a nuclear engineer, Dr. Ransom spent her service finding the actual fault in complex systems rather than patching what showed on the gauge. It's the same instinct behind this practice, and it shapes her work with service members, veterans, and military families, who make up a significant part of her caseload.
